The pandemic has significantly disrupted the education system but not the expression and innovation blooming in the young minds. The situation pronounced the use of educational technologies to reinvent and strengthen the thrust of knowledge in different way.
With the above mentioned thought, Atal Tinkering Lab of JP International School has again achieved a milestone by conducting a Virtual workshop on Basics of Arduino on 3rd of August’2021 for V to VIII students to enhance their command over basics of electronics and Artificial Intelligence. The training session was organized by “Avishkaar in association with NITI Aayog”.
The resource person led the students to the question why should they spend time to learn Arduino and how to use microcontroller board? The discussion among students and trainer was incredibly flexible and informative to learn the technology. Students well understood that with an Arduino, they can do everything from controlling a robot to managing a home automation project—and plenty besides like Controlling Philips Hue lights, Building robots, Home automation projects (lights, garage doors, even watering plants), Controlling video games, Musical projects (including connecting organic elements), Alarm systems etc.
The event witnessed overwhelming response from the students and approximately 135 students participated in this event which was held in two different Categories Tinker cad and DIY (Do It Yourself) activities.
School Principal Ms Ruby Chandel encouraged the students to learn and explore new technologies.
