INAUGURATION OF THE BASKETBALL COURT

It was a proud moment for JP International School on 9th July, 2019 to have Ms. Raspreet Singh Sidhu, Captain Indian Nation Team BasketBall in the portals to inaugurate the Basket Ball Court. On this occasion School Vice President Mr. Amit Saxena, Senior School Head Mistress Ms. Jhumur Chakravorty and Middle School Head Mistress Ms. Upma Singh along with the Faculty members from the Physical Department, Teachers and students were present to witness the Ribbon Cutting ceremony by Maam Raspreet Singh Sidhu. The energetic player displayed shots and dribble to the enthusiastic girls team of JPIS. The dignitaries lighted the ceremonial Lamp which was followed by a Foot tapping number and a classical Dance presentation. In her welcome speech Ms. Sidhu inspired the students narrating anecdotes from her life. She interacted with the students and motivated them.
‘There is no substitute to hard work”. Her words echoed in the School AV Hall… while flashing back through the memory lanes Maam Sidhu inspired the student community by telling them the amount of hard work, perseverance and toil she put in to become the CAPTAIN OF THE BASKETBALL TEAM.
“The journey begins way back for a Champion”.Recollecting her old days for the preparation , Ms. Raspreet said that her schedule would begin at 5.30 a.m. in the morning till 8.30 p.m. in the evening. To wear the Jersey of the Basket Ball team and represent India was her DREAM; which the PRIDE OF NATION did not let die. With an approach of Never say Die, she continued to practice and that made all thedifference.

Sharing her views Ms.Sidhu congratulated the Leadership Team, to promote and provide ample opportunities to the Students community to shine brighter and become responsible citizens of the Nation.
The ceremony culminated by felicitating the Chief Guest with a token of appreciation and a Certificate of Gratitude by the Vice President Mr. Amit Saxena and the Headmistress Senior and Middle Wing and a Vote of Thanks proposed by the compere Ms. Shreya DR
