“Honesty is the best Policy “
In the fast pace world that we live in, many a times a small ‘fib, lie or dishonest act, ‘ is not given to much emphasis. But, when small and continuous events happen, it turns into a habit.
Being honest is a virtue that needs to be taught from a young age.
Understanding this, the Pre Primary teachers conducted a story telling session giving honesty the main stage.
The teachers enacted The Honest Woodcutter story. They depicted a hardworking woodcutter who accidentally dropped his only Axe in a pond and how he was rewarded with a gold, a silver and an iron axe for his honest answers to a Goddess who came to help him. The story was supported by a PowerPoint presentation.
Students enjoyed and learnt the importance of being true and honest.
