JP International School, Gr. Noida celebrated its 13th Investiture Ceremony, on 14TH July’18. The newly appointed council comprising Head boy Karan Bhati, Head girl Vishu Kasana, along with 31 newly inducted Captains , Vice-captains for the four houses – Dhruv, Eklavya, Prahlad & Kartikey and school Prefects were given their respective sashes and sworn in respectively.
They were adorned with lapels by the Chief Guest of the day Prof. M Akbar – Chairman L Incubator , IIM Lucknow and Principal Ms. Heema Sharma administered the oath of office. The entire management of the school including Chairman Mr. Roshan Agarwal, President Mr. Arun Kedia, Vice President Mr. Amit Saxena , along with Headmistress Senior School, Ms. Jhumur Chakrabarti & Headmistress Middle School, Ms. Upma Singh were present to grace the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Mr. M. Akbar praised the focus on holistic development in the school. He requested parents to allow their wards to excel in their individual talents, rather than live up only to the parent’s expectations. He urged the ‘young leaders’ to uphold the values of the school and discharge their duties honestly and impartially. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by both the HMs of the school.
The programme started with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and the chanting of the Saraswati Vanadana . The occasion was made memorable by the School Choir which presented an inspirational song before the audience. A scintillating dance performance by students were the other highlights of the day’s programme.
