The Primary Investiture Ceremony of JP International School for the academic session 2018-2019 was held on Friday, 13th July 2018 with great pomp and dignity in a special assembly at the school AV Room. The event was presided over by the Principal.
The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen.
The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana, which signifies removal of darkness. Incessant mounting of the flames symbolizes the virtue and holiness.
The elected Leaders’ profiles were displayed on the Screen. They were conferred with badges and sashes by Principal Ms. Heema Sharma and Headmistress Primary Ms. Himani Taneja. The students’ council took the pledge to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. The Principal congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She also exhorted them to uphold the values. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers. She also advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school. The function concluded with the Group Photograph of all the elected council members and their proud parents.
