Atal Tinkering Lab Let’s explore and touch the innovation …. Learning has no limitations and no boundaries. It enables young people to participate in shaping a better, shared future for the world. With the above-said tagline Atal Tinkering Lab of JP International School has again achieved a milestone by conducting Virtual Tinker fest 2020 on 21st and 25th of July to celebrate curiosity and creativity! The celebration encourages the spirit of inquiry, inculcate a scientific temper, and foster entrepreneurial skill in our budding scientists. The pandemic has significantly disrupted the education system but not the expression and innovation blooming in the young minds. The situation pronounced the use of educational technologies to reinvent and strengthen the thrust of knowledge in different ways. Keeping this perspective in mind “JPIS Atal Tinkering Lab” celebrates TINKER FEST’ 2020 on 21st and 25th of July. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the leading schools of Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and even Darjeeling. Approximately, 40 students participated in this event which was held in two different Categories Tinker cad and DIY (Do It Yourself) activities. Every school are invited with two participants one for Tinker cad and another for DIY activities. All participants were from class VI to X. The competition was well organized by the Atal Tinkering Team Members in association with the JPIS ATL mentors, Mr. Jagmohan Yadav and Mr. Hemant Kumar. Heartily thanks to all of them from the entire family of JPIS. The Competition witnessed the high quality and application-based prototype submitted by the participants. In Tinker cad category Ritesh Anand of class IX from Somerville School, Greater Noida scored the first rank, Vishwajeet Singh of class IX from New Era School, Ghaziabad and Vibhav Sharma of class IX from JP International School, Greater Noida achieved the second rank while Jai Bhati of class IX from Sarla Chopra DAV Public School, Noida scored the third rank. In another category of DIY project the first rank was achieved by Pragya Biswas of class VII from Air Force School, Bagdogra, Vineet Yadav of class X from Swami Vivekanand Saraswati Vidhya Mandir School achieved the second rank while Priyansh Singh of class IX from New Era School, Ghaziabad and Muskan Singh of class IX from JP International School, Greater Noida together scored the third rank. The leading team of JPIS, Vice president Mr. Amit Saxena, Principal Ms Sadhana Malik, Senior HM Ms. Upma Singh and Junior HM Ms. Ranjan Tyagi congratulated the winners even the teachers involved in the project for their enthusiastic participation in Atal Tinkering Fest’2020.
