To imbibe the attributes of skill enhancement, JP International School, Greater Noida organized a workshop in association with STTAR for the Pre Primary teachers on ‘Interactive Multisensory Phonics’ conducted by Ms. Saswati Nanda Satpathy, an International Phonics Trainer on 13th March 2021, Saturday.
The focus area of the workshop was letter sounds, blending, identifying sounds, vowels diagraphs, how to introduce and teach silent letters and spelling rules to students.
The session was very interactive and effective. It was beautifully exemplified how vowel sounds are required to be taught in classroom setting , emphasizes on the techniques of introduction of sounds in each class and once again the session laid the focus on the kinesthetic approach to make the little ones learn. Overall the experience and learning has brought us a step closer, to giving our best as teachers to the students we are responsible for.
We would like to thank the Principal for organizing and initiating this learning process and hope to have many more in the future
