AMO Level 2 Success by JPIS
The Aryabhatta Maths Olympiad (AMO) is an annual International Mathematics Olympiad for students from grades 1 to 9. The primary aim of this competition is to foster and strengthen mathematical skills among students, thereby laying a solid foundation for their future participation in competitive examinations.
The Level 1 examination took place on April 22 and 23, 2023. Following this, the Level 2 examination was held on July 16, 2023, at JP International School in Greater Noida. An impressive turnout of over 80 students participated in the Olympiad, with more than 40 students successfully qualifying the Level 1 competition.
Notably, among the Level 2 qualifiers, Soham Bajpai from the sixth grade secured a remarkable 9th rank at the national level examination, earning a well-deserved Medal, Book, and a Vedic Maths Workshop opportunity. Several other students also excelled: Samarth of V secured the 75th rank with a Medal, Inaya of V achieved the 139th rank with a Medal, and Pratham of IV received the 204th rank with a Medal.
The school principal, Ms. Ruby Chandel recognized and praised these talented students during an assembly for their exceptional achievements.
