Successful Two-Day CBSE Inclusive Education Workshop : Enhances Teachers' Strategies for Diverse Student Needs at JPIS

The teacher fraternity upgraded their knowledge in a capacity-building program during a two-day workshop on Inclusive Education held on July 19 and 20 at JP International School hall. The resource persons, Dr. Sonia Sharma and Ms. Reena Sharma from CBSE, shared their valuable insights at the workshop, which was attended by teachers from Noida, Greater Noida, and NCR.

The day began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and an empowering address by the school principal, Ms. Ruby Chandel.

In the current scenario where education knows no boundaries, this workshop aimed to introduce new layers of learning for teachers to meet the normal , special and challenging needs of students. The CBSE center and JP International School premises provided the perfect setting for the workshop. The two-day workshop was an enriching and eye-opening session for everyone, focusing on inclusive education, which emphasizes that education is for everyone, addressing the needs of all students, whether they are typical learners or facing challenges.

The workshop focused on various new strategies tailored to current times and student needs, with an emphasis on implementing these strategies for students with challenges, such as behavioral problems, dyslexia, autism, and physical disabilities. The primary goal was to guide teachers on how to cope with different situations and meet the challenges posed by these students.

The workshop was successful, with the teacher fraternity learning extensively on various topics. They submitted their feedback and expressed their gratitude to the school management for providing all necessary resources, including timely refreshments and a lavish lunch on both days.
