Experiential learning at Health Care Centre - Yatharth Hospital

On November 14, Biology department of JPIS organized an educational trip for senior graders to Yatharth Hospital for experiential learning.

Enthusiastic Students from the Bio sections as well as class X students were eager for the visit to gain experience of practical knowledge and to promote the Sustainable Development Goal of Quality Education.

During the trip, students received CPR training that included mock drills and learned about emergency procedures for choking. They toured various departments, such as CT scan, MRI, dialysis center, operating theater (OT), and outpatient department (OPD).

Doctors and experts from each department interacted with the students, sharing in-depth knowledge about their respective fields, the usage of equipment, and the theory behind the machines. This hands-on experience aimed to enhance students' understanding of medical practices and the importance of quality education in the healthcare field.

The visit concluded with a certificate distribution and appreciation from the department for their keen interest in the medical arena and promoting a sustainable development goal of quality education. The school Principal Ms. Ruby chandel appreciated the students and teachers efforts and congratulated them on concluding the experiential learning effectively.
