HT lit fest

*Learning is not a journey, it's a destination. 

JP International School had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring event brought to us by HT PACE - Partnerships for Action in Education. This initiative has been a pioneer in promoting educational excellence, offering innovative programs that enhance classroom learning through engaging activities. On Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, our students had the unique opportunity to dive into the magical world of literature through the Book Reading Session as part of the 'LitFest Preview' by HT PACE organised by Bal Bhawan Public School, Mayur Vihar ,New Delhi.

The highlight of this event was a special session with the acclaimed children's author, Ms. Sutapa Basu,a seasoned storyteller. The session  began with an insightful talk by Ms. Basu on the importance of stories, sharing her personal journey as an author, and explaining how literature can spark imagination and creativity in young minds. This was followed by a reading from her selected short stories,"Parvati bai "and a thriller "Murder in the jungle".

Students also participated in "Slogan Writing Competition" and an engaging activity that was designed to build vocabulary, foster creativity, and enhance their ability to write and imagine. This interactive session promised to be a treat for young bibliophiles, offering them the chance to express their love for books and stories. The session  concluded with an announcement about the books displayed during the event, followed by a fun competition where students will be invited to share their favorite stories or books.

We look forward to this exciting opportunity and encourage all students to immerse themselves fully in the upcoming LitFest Preview. This is just the beginning of many such literary adventures we hope to embark upon with our students in the future.
