Scouts & Guides Camp

A two-day Scout and Guide camp took place at JP International School on December 13th and 14th, 2024, bringing excitement and energy to the school campus. The event fostered a spirit of learning, unity, camaraderie, and discipline, as students engaged in various activities throughout the day and the evening.

The camp began on the 13th Dec, with students arriving at the school and participating in the opening ceremony, which included the traditional lamp lighting. This moment set a pious tone for the event. The special guest, DSC Bigendra Singh, graced the occasion with his presence, inspiring the young Scouts and Guides with his words. The organizing team, consisting of DOCS Shiv Kumar, DOCG Shefali, DTCS Vikas Kumar, and DTCG Kavita, worked diligently to ensure the smooth execution of the camp activities.

The school Principal  praised the Scouts and Guides for exemplifying discipline and for taking care of one another while away from home. The students embraced the camping experience, pitching tents, eating together, and sharing meals. They also participated in various competitions designed to enhance their skills and teamwork.

Throughout the camp, the Scouts and Guides demonstrated resilience, cooperation, and a commitment to learning. From team-building exercises to leadership activities, the camp provided valuable experiences for all involved. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to step outside their classrooms and connect with nature, while also developing important life skills.

In conclusion, on 14 Dec 24, the camp was a resounding success, fostering unity, learning, and personal growth. The students left with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the values of Scouting and Guiding.
